About the Blog
This blog is a place where we can share our ideas, thoughts and make comment, mainly about technology and business: we take the view that if we’re not going to do anything with an idea ourselves, it might as well be out there, and if someone does something with it, then great!
Some of the posts here are short entries, and some are more like articles or papers.
You may find the odd rant or Friday afternoon joke as well…
Jonathan Bradford
Jon is a chartered accountant, but is now in recovery from his earlier spreadsheet addiction. Having worked for Arthur Andersen, he discovered the potential of the Internet in 2000 when he joined a start-up as Finance Director. He now works in an accounting practice in Newcastle, UK, with the majority of his clients being small and medium sized businesses.
Ian Leader
Ian was going to be an Engineer, but after reading a couple of books on civil engineering, decided that Computing Science would be easier and less messy. He has worked in a number of technology and management roles in investment banking, e-commerce start-ups and consumer electronics. Ian is currently Director of Consulting at LINE Communications, a learning technology and services company, and lives in Zurich, Switzerland.
